Company Overview: MarraTools offers an advanced suite of digital solutions tailored to enhance learning management, collaboration, and engagement within educational institutions. Their tools, like Marra Quiz and Marra Chat, support educators and students with features such as quizzes, custom tests, automated grading, group discussions, and motivational tools aimed at fostering academic development. Project Overview Objective: To develop an intuitive EdTech management system that simplifies learning activities, increases engagement, and offers robust data insights for educators and students. Overview: MarraTools' project aimed to design a user-friendly interface and mobile-compatible experience that integrates seamlessly with existing school systems (e.g., LMS and SMS). The goal was to enhance accessibility for all stakeholders, including students, teachers, and administrators. Research Process 1. Initial Research & Stakeholder Interviews - Interviews with Educators and Students: Conducted discussions with target users to understand their pain points and needs in online learning. - Competitive Analysis: Assessed similar educational platforms focusing on usability, assessment tools, and engagement features. - Key Insights: - The need for a simple, mobile-friendly interface. - High demand for customizable assessments and data-driven reporting. 2. Persona - Teacher: Requires tools for creating quizzes, Curriculum and managing classes. - Student: Prefers mobile accessibility, simple navigation, and engaging learning modules. - Administrator: Needs extensive reporting and access control. Design Process 1. Defining the Project & Researching. - Design Goals: Ensure ease of use, integrate performance tracking, and support engagement through gamified learning and communication. - Research: Conducted research on Existing product related to marratools, checked their Pros and cons and then Mapped out the user journey for different scenarios, such as quiz creation, class management, and student feedback. 2. Empathy Stage - Focused on understanding the daily challenges of educators and students in managing online learning and fostering active participation. - Prioritized accessibility and ease of use, especially for students with limited technical exposure. 3. Wireframing & Prototyping - Developed initial low-fidelity wireframes capturing the flow of the dashboard, quiz management, and reporting sections. - Created high-fidelity prototypes that included specific features like automated grading, customizable question formats, and reward systems for engagement. 4. User Testing & Iteration - Conducted usability tests with a sample group of students and teachers to gather feedback on layout, navigation, and accessibility. - Iteratively refined the interface based on feedback, enhancing features like notification systems and data tracking dashboards. Key Features and Functionality - Marra Quiz: Offers customizable quizzes with automated grading and instant feedback, tailored to both mobile and desktop environments. - Marra Chat: Enables group discussions and private messaging, fostering academic engagement and peer-to-peer support. - Reporting Dashboard: Provides comprehensive analytics for educators, allowing them to monitor student progress and identify learning gaps. - Reward System: Gamified elements encourage continuous learning by rewarding students for participation and achievements.
